Beginning at 6:30am shuttle bus service will be available to take you to Leschi and Ferdinand Parks from Madison Park (E. Madison and McGilvra Blvd.). The last shuttle bus will depart Madison Park for Leschi Park at 7:30am and for Ferdinand Park at 8:15am. You are encouraged to arrive at least one hour prior to your start time to catch a shuttle. Parking is limited in the Madison Park area, so carpooling to the event is encouraged.
Parking is limited at Leschi and Ferdinand Parks, but if you prefer to park at one of the starting locations, a shuttle will be available beginning at 10:15 am from Madison Park (E. Madison and McGilvra Blvd.) to take you back. The last shuttle will depart Madison Park for Leschi and Ferdinand Parks at 11:30am.
Gear can be checked at Ferdinand and Leschi Parks, and picked up at the finish line in Madison Park until 11:30am. Items will only be accepted in the bags provided by the event and only checked for participants with a valid Shore Run bib. The Shore Run race crew reserves the right to refuse gear check to any participants. Please leave all valuables in your car. Shore Run will not be responsible for items such as wallets, keys, cell phones, iPods, etc. Thank you for understanding.
The 10K Run will award age group awards to the top three male and female categories in 5 year age increments starting at 14 & Under to 75+. The 5K Run will award age group awards to the top three male and female categories in 10 year age increments starting with 14 & Under to 70+.
Cancer Survivors are at the very heart of the Shore Run. Shore Run is honoring them with a gift underwritten by Chuck and Linda Barbo and family. Please pick up your Green Aluminum Water Bottle with the Shore Run logo at the Survivors Tent in Madison Park after the Race.
Gift Certificates to Super Jock ‘N Jill will be awarded to the Top 3 highest fundraising individuals.
After you cross the finish line in Madison Park, join the festivities at the Party-in-the-Park including food, music, awards and prize drawings. You must be present to win.
All registered 10K and 5K participants in the Shore Run will receive a commemorative Shore Run short-sleeve, unisex, technical running shirt. Some sizes may not be available for pick-up on race day at Madison Park. Kids’ Run participants will receive a youth-sized cotton event t-shirt.
Support cancer research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center by volunteering! There are a lot of volunteer positions available throughout the event that need dedicated volunteers to help participants get to the finish line. Volunteer today!
Race Day – June 12th: 6:00–11:00am
Positions: Registration, water stations, gear check, course monitors, finish line help including: food and water distribution, chip collectors, etc.
